Google Wave, lo que sería si el e-mail y la mensajería instantánea hubieran sido inventados hoy

Google Wave sigue siendo un proyecto próximo a lanzarse, pero promete ser una herramienta de comunicación muy avanzada, que combina las características de la mensajería instantánea, el correo electrónico y los nuevos estándares de codificación HTML (5).
Podemos ver un buen análisis de la presentación de la herramienta hecho por la gente de TechCrunch, en el que muestran más detalles.
También existe un video de la entrevista realizada a los creadores de Google Wave explicando su funcionamiento.
En lo personal, no puedo esperar a que salga este proyecto a la luz, por lo que ya me inscribí para recibir los “updates”.

A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.
A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.”
